Individual Member Rights & Responsibilities:
- Individual Members have the right to self nominate for leadership roles & committee chair positions made available within the organization.
- Individual Members have the right to elect Membership Representation at the Spring Annual Membership Meeting.
- According to our By Laws, Individual Members are allowed to select 1 At-Large Individual Member for every 30 Individual Members documented.
- At-Large Individual Members function as voting members with Organizational Members in establishing NCH Leadership at our Spring Annual Membership Meeting.
- Individual Members can nominate themselves as a Membership Committee Chair, a Committee Member or At-Large Individual Member prior to the Annual Meeting.
- All elected Members are responsible for representing the entire Membership for the full duration of their 1 year term.
- Elected Leadership have voting power during the monthly Membership Committee meetings, & have permission to exercise creativity in how they decide to organize and utilize the meeting to engage our Members & further our collective agenda.
- All Members are encouraged to dedicate time to join our monthly committee gatherings to strengthen our community & advocacy efforts.

In an effort to be inclusive & understanding of financial limitations, we have also create a Waived Dues Individual Membership. This membership is predominantly for individuals with lived experience with housing insecurity & can be renewed annually at $0. Membership Levels can also be upgraded or downgraded at any time dependent upon personal preference.
